An 1891 house on a hill in the Ozarks.

Lovell Estate has stood above Eureka Springs since 1891 — tall windows, dark wood, a vineyard on the slope below, and the Crescent Hotel in view across the valley. In October the hills around it turn.

The house already felt the way we wanted the day to feel.

Staying the night.

Eureka Springs is a Victorian town, and the estate sits a few minutes from its historic downtown — where nearly a hundred restored 1890s houses are run as inns, alongside the 1886 Crescent Hotel on the hill.

The town is small, and October is its best month.
